I love this book on my desk. It is beauriful , love the size , like an old store journal
I bought last year's day book from this designer and knew I had to have another this year. The natural imagery and scrapbook-type design evoke simpler times gone by. I can't decide whether to use my 2009 calendar as a "day planner" or as a journal - it's that beautiful. Reminds me of the ledgers my grandfather kept in his store, when I was little.
Nice day book, I didn't expect it to be as large as it is, but there's plenty of room to write notes for each day.
I'm surprised that it doesn't note the phases of the moon, since it's a nature book, but I wouldn't consider that much of a flaw. This is an absolutely gorgeous book. I can't stop looking at it and reading the snippets of poetry. McMeel should make a garden planning and record-keeping book styled like this. I'd buy it.
Every year these ledger-style nature calendars are simply the most elegant and by far the most interesting. It is a pleasure to open it every day. Plus they are practical as well - plenty of room to make notes and register daily activies.I am simply amazed each year by what a lovely calendar one can buy for the price. And Amazon always has the best price - I can save you some time, no need to comparison shop.
